I already have things like: Johnsons speech encouraged the patriotic feeling of the young Americans and their families to do as their fathers had done before them and support their country. His attempt to improve health, education and relationships between black and whites and to create a "Great Society". USA government played and encouraged this fear of communism to get the American Public to support. Underlying fear of communists due to McCarthy. Johnson and his government portrayed this war in Vietnam as a war to help the Vietnamese people from the evil of communism. Part of the Cold War between the two ideologies communism and capitalism. American Policy not to allow anymore countries to fall to communism. USA did not want to loose the "Domino Theory". Hollywood produced films selling the anti-Communist propaganda.
